Brice (Bunny) is from France and Greta (Gnome) is from Germany - together they work on projects that focus on underrepresented topics with ongoing relevance.
Alongside 2D games, the pair have previously done extensive work on artistic projects in the fields of ARG (Alternate Reality Games) such as “Paparazzi” (Media and Film Society Prize of the Centre for Art and Media Karlsruhe) and “you are hero” (Media and Film Society Prize of the Centre for Art and Media Karlsruhe, Rotary Prize) and Outdoor Games (in the area of geocaching).
“Trash Monsters” was published in 2015 (Apple, Android & Windows) and has since been downloaded more than 30,000 times.
This is 2D adventure/sorting game for ages 8+ in which children learn about separating trash as well as gaining an insight into the field of recycling and the methods used.
“Trash Monsters” is free of charge and has been recommended by KIKA as an effective app, has won various prizes and has received support from the Media and Film Society. Composer and sound designer Mathilde Hoffmann and producer and composer Martin Buntz worked extensively on the soundtrack.
Research into the game has shown that it is much more effective at teaching children how to separate waste than conventional methods.
