Animationsinstitut of Filmakademie Baden-Württemberg

For almost 20 years, the Animationinstitut at Filmakademie Baden-Württemberg has been one of the leading international training centers for animation, visual effects (VFX), technical directing, interactive media and animation/effects producing.

In the Interactive Media program, the Animationsinstitut offers both technical and artistic training in the fields of Game Design and Game Production. The students deal with UI Design (User Interface Design) and UX Design (User Experience Design) and specialize in the course of their studies in the professions of Games Artist, Games Director or Games Producer. The focus is on the realization of own projects in a team.

In addition to experienced lecturers from all over the world, students benefit from the international conference FMX, which is organized by Filmakademie with its Animationinstitut, as well as from a broad alumni network.
